Instead, the consultation is intentionally split into two dedicated appointments.
- The first focuses on getting to know the patient—discussing concerns, goals, and the specific nature of their problem—while Dr Wong conducts an initial examination and identifies the type of malocclusion present.
- Only after this conversation and assessment does the process progress to detailed records, including scans or impressions for models, radiographs, and photographs.
- Dr Wong will then go away and study the records and notes to develop a personalised treatment plan.
- A second appointment will then be scheduled so we can discuss the plan before any treatment commences.
